Our terms of service

We aim to offer the best design, print and garment decoration service in the South West.

In order to help us achieve this please read our terms of service carefully.

Once we have an idea of your requirements, we will work with you to come up with a design for your personalised clothing or printing needs.

Understanding your requirements and choosing your products

Email, phone, visit and talk to us about what you need. This could be uniform, business stationery or a gift idea or a combination of lots of things to bring your idea to life or make your business look great.

We can help find the right product for you and you can see and try examples online and in our studio.

Getting your design right

Many designs can be completed within our free first hour of design time. Please use this time carefully. Think about what you need and want (logo/photo/artwork) and send us by email any examples, photos, drawings or anything else you already have. If we feel we need more time to discuss your artwork with you, we will ask you to book a design consultation so that we can ask all the right questions and get it right first time with you there, either in the studio or on the phone.

Our ‘1st hour free’ design service requires that any changes after the third version are discussed in person during our design consultation times.

The free hour of design begins when we first talk to you about your ideas and start work on your visual proposal.

If we need to make lots of changes and you are approaching the end of the free hour, we will let you know.

Extra design time is charged at £30 per hour.

Changes to your design(s) and product(s) choices after approval may incur additional charges.

If we are designing a logo from scratch, we will charge £50 at your first consultation. Extra time may be charged if you make changes to the original brief during the process.

Confirming the order details and receiving your invoice

You will be sent a detailed quote and visual representation of your final product. Exact position and measurements will be based on best fit for your chosen garments. If you’d like to know more about this, please get in touch. 

 

Extra Mile Printing does not allow the reproduction or sharing of your artwork file/s.

Violation of this will incur a design fee.

You will need to check your order details and visual proposal carefully.

Please check spellings, colours, print placements and anything else that it is important to get right in your design.

Please check the details of your invoice. This includes details of the garments, sizes and colours you have chosen (we may send this as a separate email for larger orders).

If you make changes to your artwork at this stage, extra design charges may be incurred. We will discuss this with you.

Payment and processing

Please check the details of your invoice and make payment in full.

For orders over £100, payment can be made by bank transfer, in person with cash or card, or by cheque.

For orders under £100 we will usually send a card payment link.

Your order will be processed on receipt of payment.

Once you have accepted your quote and visual proposal and made payment of your invoice, we will be unable to make changes to or cancel your order.

 

If you find you have forgotten something and need additional items, this will be treated as a new order.

We will call or email as soon as your order is complete and ready for collection (unless you’ve paid for delivery).

We aim to complete orders within 2 weeks. If you need your order sooner, we offer a premium express service (there is a fee for this service)

If there is a problem with your order once it is complete that is due to an error on our part, it is our policy to offer replacements rather than refunds.

We cannot offer refunds or replacements for items that have been ordered incorrectly. Please check sizing carefully according to the product information supplied.

If you have any questions about your order before making final confirmation, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Returns and replacements

We aim to provide you with the highest quality product to meet your exact requirements. Each customer is treated with bespoke needs and we offer a satisfaction guarantee. 

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds on personalised clothing and non-stock items. Please make full use of our fitting and consultation service in store and/or the detailed product information available before placing an order.  We do not decorate garments without your approval.

If there is a problem with the product/s you have ordered from us, we will make every reasonable effort to correct it.​

If the product is faulty due to a manufacturers fault, we will ask you to return it to us so that we can work with our suppliers to provide a replacement.

We expect our prints to retain their colour and quality. If you experience any problem with colour or quality after the first wash, we will ask you to return your garment for testing and provide a replacement if the problem is caused by an error on our part. Please follow our washing instructions to avoid damaging your print.

​If we are printing on garments supplied by you, we take every care possible. We cannot accept any responsibility for your products – though we will take every care to ensure they are returned in the same condition they were received. We cannot offer refunds for accidental damage to your garments during the print or embroidery process.

There is a small surcharge for printing and embroidering on garments not supplied by Extra Mile Printing.

Your information

Extra Mile Printing is an independent company and will never share your personal information, including your contact details, photographs or artwork you own with any other company or individual.

We will only ask you for information that is necessary to help us provide you with the best service.

​​All personal information is stored in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2018.

​We will ask your permission to store your information for any other purpose than to complete your order.​

If you send us photos as part of the design or print process we will treat these as personal information.​

If we design something unique for you, we will never use it for any other purpose without your agreement.
