Extra Mile Printing understands its responsibilities under the new GDPR 2018 and takes compliance seriously.
What happens to your personal information matters to us.
Extra Mile Printing has nominated Beccy Lloyd as Data Protection Officer (DPO).
We may need to process some personal information to complete your order. The legal basis for us to process this information is that it is a part of the contract between us. This may include any or all of the following:
Your phone number
Your email address
Any personal information contained in your design (for example: your contact details, your age, your nickname, the name of your school or workplace)
We usually store your information and artwork for up to 3 years, or for as long as you are an active customer of Extra Mile Printing, whichever is longer. We will use evidence of regular communication with our staff (minimum once every six months) to determine this.
We never share your information with any third party.
When you make an online, telephone or card payment in our shop, we do not store your card details. Our payment service providers meet the required legal standards for processing this information on our behalf. We have no access to the full information you provide when making a payment. If you pay by telephone, the details you provide us are entered directly into our payment providers system and we have no access to them once payment has been made. We will confirm this with you over the phone.
You have a right to access the information we hold about you. You also have the right to amend or alter the information we hold at any time.
You have the right to ask us to delete your customer record at any time. Please be advised that doing so may affect your access to special offers, repeat customer pricing, and the ability to re-order quickly and efficiently if you have asked us not to keep artwork containing personal information.
You have a right to tell us how you would like us to use your information. For example, you may be happy for us to store your information for processing orders, but prefer not to receive any communication from us not directly connected with your order.
